Anniston Army Depot (ANAD)
Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) is the designated Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence (CITE) for combat vehicles, artillery, bridging systems, and small caliber weapons. In 2005 Portal Dynamics began to develop and deploy a materiel management solution, a web-based component of the Depot Total Asset Visibility System (DTAVS), known as the Visual Planner System (VPS). VPS has served to dramatically improve “what is where” reclamation activities involved in the disassembly and re-use of parts. In 2007 ANAD’s Directorate of Information Management (DOIM) was awarded the Excellence in Enterprise Integration Award in the Government category for the DTAVS solution. Portal Dynamics is very proud to be a part of the ANAD DTAVS team.
